Madelaine was drawn to work with Rana because of her personal alignment with their vision of cohabitation. She believes that plants and animals, including humans, are meant to work together in mutual support. She can be found in Rana Nursery’s retail shed, where she is pleased to welcome customers and assist with any nursery related questions. She greatly enjoys interacting with and learning from our retail customers, who have taught her much about native gardening and habitat restoration. She is responsible for keeping our nursery inventory up to date and has been researching and trialing natural methods of nursery pest control. She gets her thrills studying the etymology of our plant’s scientific names.
